"We have worked and lived in the beautiful city of Qingdao, a city that has given us both personal and professional opportunities, for many years now. As a result, we felt it was time to do something, to leave a tangible mark of our presence here, something that would express our gratitude towards the city of Qingdao and our empathy for the less fortunate.
In July 2010, Silvio Brignone, Marco Pardini and Enrico Zanella decided to promote a charity foundation based on a concrete and active form of social solidarity.
Armed with this spirit and intent, Italian companies based in Qingdao rallied around the cause and committed to making this Solidarity initiative come true, helping orphans, the elderly and the needy.
Solidarity means commitment to taking on Social Responsibilities and implementing plans to help, not only those who require tangible support, but also those in need of Love, so that they can live their lives in a dignified manner befitting a Human Being.
The commitment of Solidarietà Italiana Qingdao is also about determining the specific needs of a single individual or needy organization, by planning solutions to problems and by intervening quickly and concretely, as well as by constantly following up on and assessing results.
